Hi we're Mark Stuver and Kristin Esposito - he's the guy next door and I was the new girl in town. I moved in across the street, we kept bumping into each other, and what started as neighborhood hellos, bloomed into a wonderful friendship, then a special bond, and now best friends in love looking to journey together. We pick grapefruits, run around with our pup, really like our coffee, we cheer each other on - he writes, I design, he surfs, I run - and at the end of the day we love our family time. The landscape, arts and culture of New Mexico and Santa Fe inspire us both in distinct ways, for Mark as a child of Colorado and Kristin as a girl from NY.
What's your most memorable Date?
When we were in Tokyo we were drawn by this dreamy romantic restaurant write-up in one of our "local's" guidebooks. That night we walked this way, that way, down one small ally to another then through a doorway back to another alley. It was so difficult to find but Mark just saw the determination in my face and kept searching with me. When we finally found it, we were turned away because we didn't have reservations - which we found were needed far in advance - however with a small stroke of luck (and some Stuver-Esposito charm) they made room for us at a cute corner table engulfed by flowers. We had the best meal both for its delicious food and wonderful company.
What's your favorite activity together?
Breakfasts and coffee, hiking with the pup, foot reflexology, yoga and manifestation sessions.
Where are you going on your honeymoon?
We're heading to Mexico after the wedding for a mini-moon and hope to travel to Italy and Norway (going back to our roots) at a later date.
